UKPSC Mains Exam Date 2025 — Official Schedule
The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has confirmed the Mains exam will be conducted across 4 consecutive days. The exam is held in offline mode only at designated centres in Uttarakhand.

Note: Candidates must carry their admit card and a valid photo ID on all four days of the examination. The exam centre once allotted cannot be changed under any circumstances as per the official notification.
Why Was UKPSC Mains Exam Date Postponed?
The UKPSC Upper PCS Mains exam was originally scheduled from December 6 to 9, 2025. However, the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission postponed the exam and announced revised dates through a fresh notification. The new and confirmed dates are April 27 to April 30, 2026.
The commission also released a revised Prelims result on January 6, 2026, which included 50 additional qualified candidates. These newly qualified candidates were given time to complete their Mains application and fee payment between January 22 and February 5, 2026. Candidates who failed to pay the Mains exam fee within this window had their applications cancelled — 41 such candidates were officially rejected as per the notice dated April 7, 2026. The current Mains exam dates of April 27–30, 2026 are final. No further postponement has been announced.
UKPSC Mains Exam Centres 2025
The Mains exam will be conducted at only two cities in Uttarakhand. Candidates selected their preferred centre during the Mains application window. The allotted centre is mentioned on the admit card and cannot be changed.
