Before looking at the syllabus, you need to know which group you belong to. JEEP 2026 is conducted for 7 course groups, and each group follows a different syllabus.

UBTER JEEP Syllabus 2026 — Group E (Engineering)
As confirmed in the official JEEP 2026 brochure, the Group E syllabus follows the High School (Class 10) board curriculum. The exam covers two subjects — Mathematics and Science (Physics + Chemistry) — each covering roughly half the paper.

UBTER JEEP Syllabus 2026 — Group P (Pharmacy)

UBTER JEEP Syllabus 2026 — Group A (Lateral Entry)
Group A is for candidates seeking direct 2nd year (Lateral Entry) admission into Diploma Engineering programmes. The exam covers Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and General Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical) in four weighted sections.
General Engineering Topics include:
- Basic Electrical Engineering — circuits, Ohm’s law, AC/DC fundamentals
- Basic Electronics — diodes, transistors, logic gates
- Basic Mechanical Engineering — simple machines, force, stress, strain
Candidates applying under Lateral Entry should also review the eligibility conditions for Group A carefully, as ITI, 10+2 PCM, and Vocational stream students all have different entry routes.

How to Prepare for UBTER JEEP 2026 Using This Syllabus
Step 1 — Identify your group first – Group E students prepare at Class 10 level. Group P students prepare at Class 12 level. Many students make the mistake of over-preparing beyond their group’s required level.
Step 2 — Balance your subject time – In Group E, Mathematics and Science carry equal weight — give both subjects equal time. In Group P, you can choose Biology or Mathematics for Section 2 — pick your stronger subject.
Step 3 — Topic-by-topic revision – Use the tables above to check off each topic as you complete it. Do not move to the next topic until you can solve 10 questions from the current one without reference.
Step 4 — Solve previous year papers – Once the syllabus is done, practicing previous year JEEP question papers will show you exactly how questions are framed from each topic and where you need more revision.
