UKSSSC Patwari Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduation from a university recognised by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the government.

Age Limit: 21 to 28 years, as of the reference date 01 July 2025. This means eligible candidates must be born between 02 July 1997 and 01 July 2004. This age range is specific to Patwari — Lekhpal under the same advertisement allows 21 to 35, and other posts like VDO go up to 42. Don’t apply one age limit across the whole advertisement; it differs by post.

UKSSSC Patwari Selection Process

Stage 1 — Written Examination: Objective-type multiple-choice test of 100 marks, conducted over 2 hours. Minimum qualifying marks are 45 percent for General and OBC candidates, 35 percent for SC and ST candidates. A negative marking of one-fourth mark applies for each wrong answer.

Stage 2 — Physical Standard and Efficiency Test: Candidates who clear the written exam are called for height, chest, and running standards. There is no interview stage for this post.

Final selection is based on merit in the written exam, subject to clearing the physical standards.

Physical Standards for Patwari

Height: Minimum 168 cm for male candidates, 152 cm for female candidates. 5 cm relaxation for hill-origin candidates.

Chest (male candidates): Minimum 84 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion. 5 cm relaxation for hill-origin candidates.

Weight (female candidates): Minimum 45 kg.

Running test: Male candidates — 7 km within 60 minutes. Female candidates — 3.5 km within 35 minutes.
