The written exam is a single 100-mark, 2-hour objective paper common to all posts, followed by a qualifying typing/stenography skill test that varies by post. Selection Process

  1. Written Examination — Offline, objective MCQ, 100 questions/100 marks, 2 hours.
  2. Typing/Stenography Skill Test (Qualifying) — Candidates shortlisted at 4× the vacancy count by written-exam merit; speed requirement varies by post (see Syllabus page).

Ans. No. Most posts require Intermediate (12th pass), but Ashulipik Grade-3 (PTCUL) requires a graduation degree. Two posts also have a higher age limit of 21–42 years instead of the general 18–42.
