UKSSSC Junior Assistant Exam Date 2026

The written exam for Junior Assistant (Kanisth Sahayak) is scheduled for 23 August 2026, as per the revised exam programme notice dated 25 June 2026. This date applies specifically to this recruitment; other UKSSSC posts under the same revised calendar have different exam dates.

When Will the UKSSSC Junior Assistant Admit Card Be Released?

UKSSSC hasn’t announced an exact admit card date yet. Going by how the commission has handled similar exams before — the last comparable Junior Assistant cycle released its admit card just 6 days before the exam — candidates should expect the card sometime in mid-to-late August 2026, closer to the exam than the usual 2–3 week window some sites are estimating. This page will be updated the moment the official link goes live.

How to Download UKSSSC Junior Assistant Admit Card 2026

Once released, the admit card can be downloaded only from the official UKSSSC website — sssc.uk.gov.in. No admit card will be sent by post.

  1. Visit sssc.uk.gov.in
  2. Go to the Admit Card section on the homepage
  3. Find the link for Junior Assistant (Kanisth Sahayak), Advt. 78/2026
  4. Log in using your application number and date of birth
  5. Download and take a clear printout

Documents to Carry to the Exam Center

Carry a printed copy of your admit card along with one valid original photo ID. Make sure the name, father’s name, and date of birth on your admit card match exactly with your high school certificate — these details aren’t editable after the application correction window (8–10 July 2026) closed, so any mismatch from your original form will carry through to the admit card.

Important Instructions Before the Exam

  • Photo cameras, calculators, mobile phones, pagers, scanner pens, and any electronic or communication device are banned inside the exam center. Carrying one isn’t just disqualification for that exam — UKSSSC can bar you from all future commission exams as well.
  • Holding an admit card doesn’t mean your candidature is final. UKSSSC can reject it at any later stage, including after document verification, if any detail is found incorrect.
  • The exam center allotted on your admit card is final and cannot be changed.
  • The OMR answer sheet is in three copies — you submit the original and duplicate to the invigilator and keep the third for yourself. Marking the wrong roll number or booklet series voids your sheet entirely, and using a whitener on the sheet attracts a penalty.

For the full breakdown of topics and marks distribution, check the Junior Assistant syllabus and exam pattern page.

UKSSSC Junior Assistant Exam Pattern 2026

The written exam carries 140 marks, conducted as an objective-type test of 2 hours 30 minutes, covering General Knowledge and General Studies. Each wrong answer deducts 0.25 marks. A separate qualifying typing test of 60 marks follows for shortlisted candidates — minimum 25 words per minute in Hindi typing is mandatory, and candidates who also clear English typing at 30 wpm get preference in the merit list.
