UKSSSC Technical Recruitment 2025-26: 18 Posts, 57 Vacancies – Eligibility & Latest Updates
Last Updated: Oct 1, 2026 | Source: Official Uksssc Notification | sssc.uk.gov.in
UKSSSC released Advertisement No. 74/उ0अ0से0च0आ0/2025 on 3 December 2025 for 57 vacancies spread across 18 posts under Group ‘ग’ direct recruitment. All 18 posts are different from each other — for example, a Cameraman and a Psychologist (Manovaigyanik) are both part of this same notification only because each post needs its own separate qualification, not a general degree.
Online applications were open from 10 December 2025 to 30 December 2025, with a correction window from 3 to 5 January 2026. Selection is through one written exam — 100 marks, objective type (MCQ), 2 hours — based on the syllabus of that particular post. The exam started from 9 March 2026 but its starts from Sep 2026 and is being held in different phases, not all posts on the same day.
A few things to keep in mind before you check your post:
- Vacancies are not equal. Sahayak Boring Technician alone has 27 vacancies — almost half of all 57 posts in this list. Fifteen of the eighteen posts have just 1 vacancy each.
- Age limit is not the same for every post. Most posts need age between 21 and 42 years. But four posts — Photo Copy Machine Operator, Projectionist, Lineman, and Sahayak Boring Technician — allow age between 18 and 42 years.
- Admit card, answer key, and result do not come out for each post one by one. UKSSSC releases them for small groups of posts at a time, so your exam date may be shared with two or three other, unrelated posts.

The 18 Posts
Sahayak Boring Technician

See the Sahayak Boring Technician eligibility, Syllabus, trade list, and vacancy breakup.
Computer Programmer
(Technical Education Board, Roorkee, 1 vacancy) accepts three different qualification routes, including an MCA degree. See the UKSSSC Computer Programmer eligibility, syllabus and all three qualification routes.
Vidhi Sahayak
(Legal Assistant, Public Works Department, 2 vacancies) needs a law degree, and a computer diploma is an added advantage.
